Google vs.LIS 没完没了
关于Google与LIS之间的争论已经太多了，总之，Ambivalence这个词是可以比较好地描述其涉众（stake holder）心态的词汇。Shawne D. Miksa最新的文章 Them! Google’s Ambivalence toward Library and Information Science 就在继续谈论这个话题。她认为对LIS领域的人来说，Google得以成功的基石都是些本领域内的常识性的东西（what corner in LIS one inhabits this origin may be common knowledge or a surprisingly unknown fact.），虽然眼下对Google的业绩不免有点 secretly envious，但应该做的还是好好地分析利用Google所提供的工具，给用户切实的指导：

Google已经表明了其primary competitors to be Microsoft and Yahoo.
