加入twine很久了，作为享受不到学校library丰富资源的人来说，在这里还是很有收益的。近日里面又多了一个名为“Full Text”的Twine，其summary是这样的：

Most of the world’s research resides in online academic databases such
as ProQuest, JSTOR, Science Direct, EBSCO and Gale. To use these
databases and find full text peer reviewed articles, you must have
access to an academic library.
This twine is for those who don’t.
There are free databases and scholarly search tools on the web that may not
be as comprehensive as the above examples, but are a good start for
“academics without access” and “researchers without resources”.

这个Twine才刚建立，成员目前也只有12个，已有的Activity也才只是在介绍OA资源和一些SE，看看其发展

Twine被称作”The First Mainstream Semantic Web App”，偶加入进去后发现里面确实有很多好东西，毕竟这里面的用户都是些高级用户，能致力于信息的语义挖掘,所以所共享的资源关联度比较大，虽然偶很少有精力去里面做贡献，纯粹一只会索取的潜水员,但这也验证了向Twine这种对用户要求颇高的社区发展前景堪忧，用户大多数都是懒惰的。阮老师对此已经有了深刻的评论了。偶利用Twine主要是选了几个感兴趣的twine，然后在邮件了接受twine digest，效果不错，可惜了偶账户里那么多twine邀请了···
今天在Twine得到了一本书《The Theory and Practice of Online Learning》，Terry Anderson编著，484页，初版2004，二版2008。放在了自己的skydriver里面，不错。
